Peter Oxford is the founder and National Director of the Showcase Australian Dance. With years of extensive training in all areas of Dance and Acrobatics, throughout his childhood he performed on various television shows, corporate events and numerous stage shows,
He then went on to own and direct his own Dance studio in Sydney for over 12 years and was the producer choreographer & agent for the Showbiz Kids Show group; The group were selected as official ambassadors for the history making Trade Agreements and the launch of the Sydney Sister City exchange program in China.
In 2000 he was also on the production team for the Olympic Torch Relay committee and Choreographer for selected venue openings for the Sydney Olympic Games. He has produced shows in Kuala Lumpur, the USA & Mexico.
Showcase was set up and established in 1994 and in 1995-he set up the highly successful Dancer of the Year Pageant that has now linked with America, New Zealand and Canada. Over the Last 20 years Peter Oxford has awarded over 1 million dollars in cash awards and prizes through the Showcase Dance championships.
Peter Oxford over the years has been in constant demand to conduct dance workshops, Teacher Seminars; he has Judged Dance Competitions throughout Australia as well as in USA, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore. And was the host for the 2007 World Dance Championships in Las Vegas.
From 2004 till 2010 Peter also operated as a corporate travel consultant and created Australia's first ever fully charted gay cruise, "Navigaytion" on the P&O Pacific Sun and went on to create a further additional Cruise ship Charter ex Adelaide on the "Athena"
With the success of Showcase now heading into its 3rd decade it attracts over 10,000 dancers annually an is now held in over 20 cities around Australia and New Zealand.
Over the last 10 years Peter has also dedicated his personal time to assisted financially to a children’s Orphanage in Saigon Vietnam.
