Melinda Schneider is an iconic Australian country musician with a multi-award winning discography that features an outstanding 14 albums paired with 6 CMAA Golden Guitars. Alongside over 40 years in the industry being a live performer, story teller, and female empowerment activist - Melinda is also the founder and CEO of M*Power Records.

First introduced into the music scene by mother and country music star Mary Schneider, Melinda has  thrived in the spotlight since the age of 3 - stepping into her music career at just the age of 8. Melinda has since become a huge touring success Australia-wide - and has recorded with icons John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Paul Kelly.

Melinda's impressive musical body of work also includes her theatre performances as Doris Day, with her album 'Melinda Does Doris' hitting #1 and her 2011 show 'DORIS, So Much More Than The Girl Next Door' being a success all across the country, even selling out the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall twice. 2014 saw the release of powerhouse album 'Great Women of Country' with Beccy Cole, and 2019 allowed the acclaimed singer to revisit her roots with another successful tour titled 'A Farewell to Doris'.


Australia has seen Melinda make her debut as an actress at 13 in 'A Country Practice', create her own fashion brand 'Celebrity Threads' and compete on Dancing With The Star's season 10. Melinda prides herself as a mental health advocate, being an ambassador for the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program in which she has partnered with to launch 'Be Gentle On Yourself' - a touring show that focuses on connecting with inner healing through her own personal stories.


Amongst her multi-faceted talents that make her a sought after keynote speaker, Melinda Schneider is above all else a proud mother and continues to be an influential figure within the Australian entertainment industry and country music scene.
