Jarrod Woodgate captured Australia's hearts and then broke them as a runner up contestant on Sophie Monk's season of the Bachelorette. His teary beach walk will go down as one of the most memorable moments in Australian television history.
Soon after, Jarrod led the cast of Bachelor In Paradise to ratings success in the shows inaugural Aussie season. Dating his way through paradise, it was his honest and sincere attitude that won over viewers. His well-intentioned time on the show resulted in an even bigger following and an engaged social media audience.
Aside from television, Jarrod has worked extensively in radio and with brands. A stand out was his partnership with Heinz where, as the face of their pasta sauce range, he showed that clingy isn't always a bad thing!
On a personal note, Jarrod also served as a military soldier for 12 years, where he was enlisted in operations across Timor, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia. Today, he assists in raising awareness of PTSD in ex-military soldiers and serving as an advocate for men's mental health.
In his spare time, he works with charity Camp Quality as their national ambassador.
