Roll back to 2016 when Jake immediately caught the eye of Georgia Love on The Bachelorette. Wearing his heart on his sleeve the entire season, Jake won the hearts of Australians with his sweet and charming personality. From watching him blush like a school boy to imitating that famous scene in the Titanic, viewers couldn’t help but think Jake was the perfect gentlemen. Audience’s were convinced he was the one for bachelorette Georgia Love when he received the first single date and first kiss before any of the other 17 suitors. However, hearts broke all across the nation when Georgia sent Jake home in the semi-finale ending his bachelor experience. Jake’s relatable nature had watchers feeling all the feels in the moment he was left heart broken.
Come 2017 Jake began filming Australia's inaugural season of Bachelor In Paradise .. proving that a broken heart can’t keep him down. Showcasing a very different side to Jake's personality viewers saw a game-playing, fun-seeking guy who eventually won out! Scoring the heart of Megan Marx, the pair are now Facebook official and living on the Gold Coast.
Jake returned from filming to some devastating news. His mums cancer had returned and more aggressively than ever. A few short weeks later she passed away, leaving behind a strong family and years of activism for cancer charities; something Jake is honoured to continue.
Moving on from The Bachelor franchises Jake has some huge projects in the works for 2018/19 that he can't wait to share with Australia.
